There is a subtle underlying beat or throb
Pulsing throughout all creation.
When I become very still, I hear it ~
Right at the furthermost edge of listening.

If I tune in, at times I find my awareness
Vibrating with melodic patterns
That resonate with a longing or intention ~
Then sitting at the keyboard,
A song emerges.

Over the years I’ve written and sung
Many songs that express experiences
Of the inner journey.
